Biography
Andrew Johnson, known as Astral Matrix, was a close collaborator of fellow San Francisco DJ and producer Galen, releasing the Bent Halos EP together as Galen & Astral Matrix in 2000. His tracks appeared on DJ mix compilations by Brad, Carlos, DRC, Jim Hopkins, and John Digweed's Global Underground 006: Sydney, and he played live sets in the SF scene, including a 1997 recording from Beta Lounge on Haight Street.
