Biography
Dan Efex made his first public appearance DJing at Milwaukee promoter Drop Bass Network's one-year anniversary party in 1993, and went on to become one of the first DJs to bring driving trance builds to the Midwest scene. He's played across hard techno, hardcore, hard house, and tribal styles, and became a fixture on Chicago radio with guest spots on Energy 92.7's Clubland Underground and Q101's Sonic Boom.
In 2001 he was brought on to write the theme song for the Chicago television show Afterhours Television, and became the show's sound engineer and a resident DJ for its events.
