DJ Daniel

Daniel Chavez co-founded the Moontribe Collective at 17 alongside Treavor Walton and Electric Skychurch, becoming the group's first resident DJ at its full moon desert gatherings in Southern California. He blazed a psytrance and acid jazz sound early on, and was one of the DJs, alongside Walton, John Kelley, and Heather Schwarz, who pioneered the desert breaks sound that grew out of those parties.

Also known as D.Complex, he's continued performing and touring under the name Daniel Moontribe, playing a style he's described as industrial-strength automatechno blended with deep house and electro-fusion.
