DJ Matt Druid

Matthew Wilson, known as Matt Druid, has been a fixture of Chicago's underground techno scene since the mid-1990s, working as a producer, DJ, event promoter, and recording studio owner. He emerged from the raw energy of the 90s rave circuit with a catalog of early mixtapes and CD releases built on aggressive acid, trance, and classic Chicago house.

His sound has since evolved into a dark, driving, tribal strain of Chicago techno, and he's played underground warehouses across the Midwest, from New Orleans and Kansas City to Iowa, Wisconsin, and Indiana, as well as internationally in Mexico and Japan.
