From London, England

Randall McNeil grew up in East London and first encountered acid house at the 1987 Notting Hill Carnival, which led him to start buying records and studying other DJs. He was introduced to scratching and mixing in the late 1980s and became one of the pioneering DJs of the breakbeat hardcore and jungle scenes as they developed into drum and bass.

He hosted a regular jungle show on Kiss 100 and founded the label Mac II Recordings in 1997, and his influence on the genre extended to shaping the style of younger DJs including Andy C. He continued performing until his death in July 2024.
