Dylan Drazen

Dylan Drazen started DJing in 1993 at 18, cutting his teeth on Underground88, a Saturday overnight radio show where he first developed his signature long-form deep house mixes. The following summer he interned at The Looking Glass, composer Philip Glass's recording studio, and stayed on afterward as a Macintosh technician, assisting on the Oscar-nominated score for Martin Scorsese's 1997 film Kundun.

He built a reputation playing New York rooms including Avalon, Arc, The Tunnel, Twilo, and Exit, and released production work on François K's Clicktracks, Chicago's Blueline, and Brooklyn's Remains Records, with tracks licensed for mix compilations by Chris Liebing and Frankie Bones. Starting in the late 1990s he became a fixture of Spain's underground techno scene, commuting from his New York base for years of touring across the Iberian peninsula.
