Huda Hudia

Huda Hudia got his start as a DJ by chance around 1990, taking over an unofficial summer residency at a bar in high school after the previous DJ quit, playing industrial and techno acts like Front 242, Snap!, and Lords of Acid. He went on to attend the University of South Florida in Tampa, holding residencies at local clubs including The Groove, Eden, and The Masquerade, and was named Best DJ by both Creative Loafing and Weekly Planet magazine in 1996.

In 1997 he founded the label Kaleidoscope Music and created the group Junior Camp, whose single "Clap Your Hands" reached No. 7 on the UK charts and appeared on a Ministry of Sound compilation mixed by Pete Tong and Boy George. His remix of the Jungle Brothers' "I'll House You" hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Breakouts chart in 1998, and he later teamed with DJ Volume as the Hotheadz and with DJ Fixx under names including Funk Junkies and Filter Freaks.
