J-Dub

J.Dub learned to DJ in Chicago's underground house scene during the 1990s, becoming a regular at clubs including Shelter, Red Dog, and Karma, and running the Sorted night alongside DJ Heather at Smart Bar. He also performs as lead vocalist for the group Greenskeepers, and has held residencies in Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Vancouver.

Shows at Toronto's Industry nightclub drew him into the Canadian house scene, and his mixtapes on the Canadian label Blu Funk Recordings built his reputation as a standout of the underground. His vocal tracks have been released on labels including DFA, Smash Hit, and Rockstar, and remixed by Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak, Mark Farina, and Stacy Pullen. He later moved to London, playing Ministry of Sound, The End, and Turnmills, and in 2008 formed the group Science & Industry with James Curd and Chris Holmes.
