From San Diego, California

Ben Hebel, also known as Professor B, came up in San Diego, self-releasing a run of acid trance and techno tapes through the first half of the 1990s, including Submerge in 1992, 303% Deep Acid Trance in 1994, and AeroSphere in 1995. By the end of the decade he'd turned toward breaks, releasing Dragon Lounge Volume One on Champion Sound in 1998.

He made Light Saber with Teknoman in 2001, and worked repeatedly with Simply Jeff, releasing Pacific Breaks Connection together that same year and Funk Deluxe in 2004.
