From Los Angeles, California

Sandra Collins was born in Arizona and raised in Las Vegas, getting her start on turntables in 1987 before playing Frankie Bones's seminal STORM raves in Brooklyn. She relocated to Los Angeles in 1992, becoming resident DJ at Sketchpad through 1995 and later sharing a residency at Metropolis with Doc Martin and Taylor from 1995 to 1998, while working an A&R job at Sven Väth's EyeQ/Harthouse label.

Her 1997 debut mix CD, Lost in Time, was followed by Tranceport 3 in 2000, making her the first woman featured in the influential Tranceport series, and she opened Woodstock '99 with a six-hour set for 80,000 people after Moby. She moved to New York in 1998 and became a regular at Twilo alongside Sasha, Digweed, and Paul van Dyk, releasing the album Cream in 2001 and two mix CDs under Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto label.
