Biography
Sotero, a Las Vegas native who's played guitar, bass, drums, and piano since childhood, became one of the most important figures in San Diego's underground club and rave scene starting in the early 1990s, holding residencies and building some of the city's most memorable events over nearly two decades. He toured extensively as an opening DJ for Rabbit in the Moon, teaming with the group's David Christopher on studio productions released through Hallucination Records.
He's also the founder of HiSol Recordings, which he runs with partner Frank Richards, releasing collaborative work as The Vibe, including "Until the Sun Refuses to Shine," which was featured on James Lavelle's Global Underground Barcelona #23 compilation.
