Taylor

Myles "Taylor" Wooten was born in Los Angeles and became a central figure in Southern California's trance and progressive house scene. In 1994 he invited John Digweed and Sasha to his Thursday residency at Metropolis in Orange County, a landmark moment that introduced the European progressive sound to a growing American audience.

With BT, he created "Calling Your Name" under the Libra alias, a defining mid-90s trance anthem, and in 2000 co-mixed Trance Nation America with Jimmy Van M for Ministry of Sound. He also recorded as G.T.R. with the UK's Guy Oldham and remixed Skylab 2000's "Auburn" into one of the era's most distinctive breakbeat tracks.

Taylor died in August 2025 after a battle with stage 4 cancer.
