Wilhelm K.

Wilhelm K. started DJing and throwing his own events in 1991, and became one of the first promoters to bring rave culture to upstate New York, playing across the northeast by 1994. In 1996 he relocated to the Midwest, where his "Get" parties, including the legendary Get Freaky Too, helped shape the region's scene.

He got into production in 1997 through Drivetrain, owner of Detroit's Soiree Records, and in 2000 launched his own label, D-Version, landing licensing deals with Ministry of Sound. He's released music alongside Frankie Bones and Cari Lekebusch, and spent the early 2000s touring coast to coast as one of the Midwest's most in-demand DJs.
