Come Unity - Volumes I - VI (1993)

About This Mix

It's the first day of summer and seems like the perfect day to post this Come Unity event in all it's HD glory! Recorded live on April 17, 1993 at the Richmond Civic Auditorium in Richmond, California as a fund raiser for Malachy O'Brien and features Spun, Josh, Simon, Markie Mark, Jeno, and Garth. This was a six tape set on normal (type I) tapes. Each tape is 90 minutes except for tape six which is 60 minutes. J card artwork is black and white and was contributed by six different artists. There were only 250 sets made. All funds after cost were donated to the Malachy O'Brien Healing Fund.

I had to remove a ~2-minute segment that featured DJ Food's Ninja Walk during Markie Mark's set on Come Unity IV. I tried to make the edit as seamless as possible.

These mixes were ripped from the original cassettes on a Nakamichi BX-300, cleaned up in Ableton, and video encoded at 1080p for the best possible HD sound.
