Biography
Brandon Busby, known as Brandon S, is a Midwest drum and bass and jungle DJ, promoter, and scene builder whose roots trace back to the late 1990s cassette era. He came up through the Chicago underground before landing in St. Louis over 15 years ago, releasing a string of mixes that circulated widely through tape trading networks and early online communities, including Abstract Audio with DJ 3D, Syntax with Ciro, and The Jungle Book 3 with Danny the Wildchild.
He spent decades building the scene behind the boards too, founding the label FurtherSound and promoting countless Midwest events, and today runs Bassline Therapy, a community-driven drum and bass session, and Push:DNB, a booking and touring platform.
