Biography
Jason Blakemore began playing out in Los Angeles in 1992 and spent the first years of his career as DJ Trance. He was one of the DJs the early Los Angeles rave scene was built on, and cut a long run of acid house and hardcore mixtapes under that name, several of them alongside R.A.W. and Fester, with Bassex, Mictlan and Sole Unlimited carrying some of them.
Sm:)e Communications put out a 10-inch of his in 1995, Run From The Sun / Melanie's Song, and Bassex released Indians And Aliens the same year, and he contributed two mixes to The California Project, the sixteen-cassette box of California DJs issued in 1994. He set the alias aside in the mid 90s and has recorded under his own name since.
