Hipp-E

Eric Galaviz, known as Hipp-E, is originally from Denver, where he got his start promoting and DJing some of Colorado's earliest raves from the age of 16. He later spent about thirteen years in San Diego, where he became an influential part of the West Coast house scene, teaming up with production partner Brian "Halo" Varga to form H-Foundation, releasing music as H-Foundation and 6400 Crew for labels including Siesta Music, Soma, Hooj Choons, and Yoshitoshi.

In 2000 he moved to San Francisco, where he lived for close to a decade and became closely tied to the city's house scene, serving as A&R for Tango Recordings and releasing solo productions on Om Records, NRK, Soma, and Product Deluxe. He's played raves and clubs across the US and internationally, including New Zealand, Montreal, Turkey, Croatia, Spain, and Brazil.
