Jeno

Jeno started out as a punk musician in London before discovering DJing and the city's warehouse party scene in the mid-1980s, including the early days of the Tonka Sound System. In 1991 he moved to San Francisco with fellow London DJs Garth, Thomas Bullock, and Markie, and together they founded the Wicked Sound System, throwing the free outdoor Full Moon parties that helped define the city's rave scene.

In the mid-1990s the crew imported a custom Turbosound system from the UK and toured the country in a restored 1947 bus, playing stops that included Burning Man and Reggae on the River. Jeno also contributed a mix to DMC's United DJs of America series, joining Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Little Louie Vega, and Doc Martin on the same release.

Wicked paused in 2004 but reunited for a 25th anniversary show in San Francisco in 2016. Jeno has continued to DJ locally and internationally, and has hosted the radio show Noise From the Void every full and new moon for over a decade.
