Ron D Core

Ron D Core has been DJing since 1986 and became part of Los Angeles' early '90s warehouse rave scene as it exploded across Southern California. He built a reputation as a pioneer of hardcore and techno known as "the West Coast Hardcore Pervert," releasing a run of hardcore and gabber tracks through the '90s, including collaborations with European hardcore acts like Nasenbluten.

He and DJ Dan were early collaborators, releasing a series of mixtapes together in the LA scene before Dan moved on to San Francisco, and the two have continued to play tag-team vinyl sets together for decades since. Ron owns Dr. Freecloud's Record Store in Los Angeles, a fixture for vinyl collectors in the scene he helped build.
