Nathan Vinall, who performs as Skynet, discovered jungle music while learning production in his hometown of Brighton, England, and refined his sound while meeting other up-and-coming producers in the local scene. He was introduced to fellow Brighton producer Shaun Morris, known as Stakka, and the two began working together increasingly, eventually founding the labels Underfire Recordings and Audio Blueprint together in 1997, later joined by K-Tee, Skinny, and Friction.
