Biography
Shaun Morris, who performs as Stakka, is a Brighton, England drum and bass DJ, producer, and composer who started making music in 1988. Around 1992 he began working with friends Rob Lennon and K-Tee on an Amiga computer, and in 1994 he and K-Tee released their first professional record, "Ruffneck Ragga."
Around 1996 he met fellow Brighton producer Nathan Vinall, known as Skynet, and helped him in the studio between sessions with K-Tee. By 1997 the two had founded the labels Underfire Recordings and Audio Blueprint, later joined by K-Tee, Skinny, and Friction. Stakka now lives in Brooklyn, New York.
