Biography
Chris Brodeur, known as Sniper, is a Toronto junglist and the brother of fellow DJ/producer Mystical Influence. In 1996 the brothers co-founded Vinyl Syndicate Recordings with Slip & Slide, a Toronto drum and bass label, and their 1996 collaboration "Dub Plate Pressure" became a foundational jungle track, built around vocal samples of MC GQ.
Sniper was a key resident, alongside Mystical Influence, at Toronto's Syrous Sessions and the all-ages FungleJunk Tuesdays at Turbo nightclub, and the brothers also ran Fully Loaded Distribution together.
