Biography
Tang Tran was one of the people behind Cytrax, the minimal techno label that came out of the Los Angeles scene in the second half of the 1990s, which he started with Juan Mendez, Marcus Miller and Kit Clayton. His own record In Fifth Place came out on it in 1997, and he taped a numbered series of mixes as DJ Tang across those same years.
