From Los Angeles, California

Josh McClintock started DJing in Los Angeles in the summer of 1991, citing Doc Martin, Jeno, and Barry Weaver as mentors. His first big break came in 1993 playing the weekly Middle Earth alongside David Alvarado, Markem X, Frank C, and Tom Stimuli, and he went on to build a following through his Acid Junky mixtape series, which got him booked around LA and San Diego, including opening for Doc Martin at Unlock the House and playing live on KUCI's Riders of the Plastic Groove.

He moved to New York in 1996 and stayed fourteen years before returning to California in 2010. He plays vinyl only.
