Awesome old school jungle mix from R.A.W. released as a two-tape set back in 1994. This is the first cassette titled "R.A.W. Is Dead". According to R.A.W.:
"On the RAW IS DEAD mixtape I tried to recreate the experience of an atheist who died and finally believed in God once he was outside of his body and entering Heaven realizing that awareness does not end upon end of his earthly life. The mix that follows is then to be interpreted as the sound of Heaven where the angels musical selections is jungle, techno, breakbeats, reggae and hip hop. I produced the mix using a Tascam 4-track tape recorder and tons of vinyl, an Emu Emax II sampler and a vhs tape player to create the sonic experience that will live on way beyond my years."
This mix was ripped from the original cassette on a Nakamichi BX-300, cleaned up in Ableton, and video encoded at 1080p for the best possible HD sound.
