Feelgood

Charles Feelgood grew up in Baltimore listening to his father's record collection, and started throwing small parties under the name House of Fields in the 1980s before picking up turntables around 1989. In the early '90s he and Scott Henry launched Fever, a weekly Baltimore party that helped kick-start the Baltimore/D.C. rave scene and drew crowds of roughly 2,500 people, booking DJs like Sven Väth and Derrick Carter.

He founded Charm City Recordings in 1997 and recorded as half of Partners in Crime with Nardy Teal, then signed to Moonshine Records, releasing the CD Can You Feel It in 2000. In 2001 he opened Shortys, a Baltimore bar and lounge where local DJs still played seven nights a week, and he's been named Baltimore's Best DJ multiple times and included on DJ Magazine's top 100 list.
