Rinse

Sean Stearman was a founding member of San Francisco's B.A.S.S. Kru, one of the crews that carried the city's jungle scene through the 1990s and threw its first jungle warehouse parties at a time when local raves barely played the genre. He's worked most often alongside Flux, and in 1998 the two of them opened Compound Records on Haight Street, the first West Coast shop dealing strictly in drum and bass. They opened a second location in Seattle in 2000.

Compound also put out records: a compilation Rinse and Flux mixed together in 2001, and Rinse's own Rinse & Nitsuj B2B the following year. He's also released Live In Vancouver B.C. on Red Tape in 2000 and Ruff & Rugged on Massive Lab in 2004.
